Access Essentials 2013 Course

Course Overview

This course is for students with no prior knowledge of Microsoft Access or relational databases. This course is designed to teach you the concepts of relational database architecture and knowledge for building an Access database. During this 2 day course you will learn how to build tables to store data in related tables, create forms for data entry, create and execute queries to analyse data and produce printable reports. If you have inherited an Access database that you have to learn how to manage and maintain or simply just need to know how to work with an Access database, then this course is for you.

Some working knowledge of Excel would be advantageous for this course.

At the completion of this course students will gain a solid understanding of the relational database concepts and terminology used throughout Microsoft Access. Students will also be able to build a simple database, manipulate data via forms and create a basic queries and reports.
