EXCEL ADVANCED 2013

Course Overview

The Excel Advanced course assumes that students are confidently working within the Excel environment and wish to delve into the more technical and intricate aspects of using Excel’s available tool set. This course will expose students to a deeper level of understanding when constructing and building formulas. Students wishing to attend this course will typically use Excel on a day to day basis to evaluate, extract and analyse results and may also desire techniques to streamline tasks within their current workflows. They may also have an interest in gaining a basic knowledge of recording macros to automate tasks within Excel and a basic insight to VBA code to gain a greater understanding of macros.

As a result of this course students will be able to use a variety of lookup, logical, financial and statistical functions. Analytical features such as Goal Seek, Scenario Manager will also be demonstrated, and students will gain exposure to Macros including an introduction to VBA code.

Microsoft Excel Intermediate 2013 or equivalent
