Craig Holmes

Craig HolmesCraig Holmes worked in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanical Engineer from 1991 – 1997. After this period he was self employed as a graphic designer and consultant to the photographic industry from 1997 to 2000. He then trained as a Senior consultant for Learning Alliance from 2001 to 2003 and then six months for Pollak Learning Alliance. In May 2003, he opened up his own training company (Raising the Bar Pty Ltd) specialising in mobile training for corporate enterprises. Craig has a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and is a Microsoft Office User Specialist who trains in all levels of Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, VBA programming and Photoshop.

Kate Kempshall

Kate Kempshall Kate Kempshall has worked in the IT industry for the past 15 years. Kate has worked with companies such as Sun Microsystems (Mitsui Computer), BMC Media, an online Media house and IDG Communications, an IT publishing house. Her experience included Sales and Marketing presentations and Business Development to multi-national companies and extensive accounting procedures. Kate has gained the Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and Certificate IV in Human Resources Management. Having taken a position with ' The House with No Steps ' a registered training organisation, Kate was responsible for training both staff and employees with disabilities in Certificates I & II in Information Technology, which contained training modules in Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook and Publisher. Kate also trained Certificates I & II in Business and Front Line Management which focused on a broad range of management skills and the necessary techniques of communication essential for modern management practice. Having worked with disabled students, Kate has had to develop new and innovative teaching techniques to facilitate competency. Her passion to continue in the training industry is driven by the reward of her student’s success.

John Stericker

John Stericker After a successful 8 years in 5 star hospitality, John rekindled a childhood fascination with computers when he made a drastic career change in 1996 and became an apprentice computer trainer. Spending all his savings on a computer and Microsoft Office, he put himself through a rigorous self study program, as well as sitting in on countless courses with his new employee, and after 3 months was ready to train his first Excel Introduction Course early in 1997. Since then, he has worked for many prestigious training companies, as well as holding Learning & Development positions, most notably working for HSBC as their Online Learning specialist for 3 ½ years. John also has a keen interest in web development, and has nurtured the web site flatmate.com from it’s humble beginnings to an internationally recognised share accommodation portal.
